Drama

Vision statement

Swan drama 3Drama at The Swan school is a subject which will allow students to develop their confidence, emotional intelligence, and their ability to collaborate, as well as building a comprehensive understanding of the art form of theatre. Students will be provided with a space to respond personally to the performances of professionals in the industry as well as being required to make and justify theatrical choices themselves. The personal and creative nature of the subject therefore encourages students to be both expressive and opinionated.

As well as studying Drama in the classroom, Swan School students have the opportunity to take part in a variety of extracurricular Drama-based activities. These range from improvisation workshops, our weekly Drama club, to our annual whole-school production. This is an ever-growing and vibrant part of our school offering.
