Inter-House Sport
As part of our inclusive house culture at the Swan School we offer the students a variety of opportunities to compete against other houses within their year groups and across the school. Over the past few years we have offered inter-house sporting competitions such as Football, Badminton, Basketball and Netball across the whole school. The final inter-house event is a whole school Sports Day where students compete in a variety of athletic events, trying to beat school records and contibute to their houses’ overall points. Winning houses are then celebrated within whole school assemblies, on our house accolades board and contribute points towards the overall house cup standings.
Our inter-house sports competitions are driven by a shared passion for sports, serving as a powerful catalyst for community and connection. By harnessing this love of sport, we strive to cultivate a truly inclusive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to participate, regardless of their skill level. These events go beyond simple rivalry; they foster a deep sense of belonging and teamwork, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to contribute to their House and celebrate the joy of movement together.
